Gladstone Hotel First Thursday: Morgan Davis CD Release – Free Admission

The Toronto Blues Society presents the best in blues talent the first Thursday of each month at The Melody Bar in The Gladstone Hotel. There is no cover charge and each performance begins at 8:30pm. Arrive early to get a good table, and don’t forget to try the hotel’s tasty local food menu. The next performance features a solo performance by blues veteran Morgan Davis (pictured)! This will be the CD release for his first album in seven years titled “Drive My Blues Away”.

TBS Talent Search Submissions

If you are a local blues musician/band submit to become one of six performing finalists for the Toronto Blues Society Talent Search through either Sonicbids ( OR by mailing a one sheet bio, photo, CD and cheque for $15 to the TBS office. Submissions will be accepted until June 17. Prizes include showcase opportunities, industry consultation and more! The date for the finals is set for noon on August 18 at Nathan Phillips Square!

The 25th annual Toronto Blues Society Women’s Blues Revue will take place at the historic Massey Hall on Saturday November 26. Watch this space each week for exciting announcements!
