IBC FundraiserSuzie Vinnick (solo) and Shrimp Daddy & The Sharpshooters (band) will be representing the Toronto Blues Society at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. On Saturday January 12, a fundraiser will be held at The Delta Chelsea Monarchs Pub to raise funds to help these artists cover the cost of travelling and showcasing in the US. The event will run 4pm-8pm and it will feature performances by both artists. There will be a cover charge of $10 at the door. |
Maple Blues AwardsThe Maple Blues Awards returns to beautiful Koerner Hall to honour the best in Canadian blues. Hosted by Raoul Bhaneja, the awards show will take place on Monday January 21, 7pm. Blues Summit 6 – Early Bird Discount AvailableRegister now for the most important blues conference in Canada, Blues Summit 6. This biennial event brings together artists, festival directors, media, labels, managers, agents and other blues industry with both a showcase and a conference component.
