This historic concert will celebrate musicians like Frank Wright, Archie Alleyne, Jodie Drake, Jackie Shane, Dianne Brooks, and more, while also highlighting many of the landmarks that provided safe spaces for the African Canadian music community and their audiences.
Canada’s blues music all-star concert and annual awards is back! The 2022 event, hosted by Angelique Francis, will feature performances by some of the hottest blues musicians from across the country, including Sue Foley, Crystal Shawanda, Kat Danser, and Bobby Dean Blackburn, all backed by the illustrious Maple Blues Band.
