DAWG FM in Toronto – Urgent Action Required

DAWG FM is applying for a radio license to broadcast in Toronto. As part of the process they will need letters of support written by the blues community before this Monday. There are several ways to support this initiative:

1) Email a letter of support directly to Frank Torres [email protected]. If available, put it on company letterhead and indicate your business would purchase advertising time on the station. Non-company letters are just as effective. Your letter needs to include the following: Re : Application Number 2011-1628-6 by Frank Torres On Behalf of a Corporation to be Incorporated for a New FM All Blues Radio Station in Toronto

The Letter should also include an acknowledgment that the letter will form part of the public record similar to below: I understand that any information I provide including my name and personal information may become part of the public record available for download from the CRTC website.

2) Enter an intervention of support directly on the CRTC website.

a)  Click here: https://services.crtc.gc.ca/pub/instances-proceedings/Default-Defaut.aspx?Lang=Eng&YA=2012&S=O&PA=b&PT=nc&PST=a#2012-126
b)  Hit the “SUBMIT” button under the ‘deadlines’ column.
c)  Select “I AGREE”
d)  Select “OPTION 1”
e)  Select “FRANK TORRES OBCI”
f)  Select “SUPPORT” and leave your rockin’ comments.
g)  Once you’ve submitted, just say you do not want to appear, fill in your info, and VOILA!  You’re done.

For more options, please go to http://www.dawgfm.com/ and follow the directions on the website to show your support to help get DAWG FM on the air in Toronto!
