Every Saturday we go to The Duck in St. Catharines, ON (Our local Blues Bar) to listen to live Blues artists play with The Mighty Duck Blues Band. We were having so much fun dancing to Carlos del Junco on Oct 27th, we thought, why not take 46 other Niagara Blues Fans to the Maple Blues Awards with us on a bus trip! Neither of us have ever organized anything like this before. We sold out our tickets in just over a month, met some great new friends, great artists & have 5 professional blues players booked for the ride up on our Bus! The bonus is that we were able to donate $500.00 to Autism Niagara on behalf of the Niagara Blues Lovers. We truly love the Blues – it fills our mind and hearts with true inspiration every day….We are smiling, laughing & dancing our way through our lives& living our dreams thanks to the Blues.

The winning submission will be shown during in the 16th Annual Maple Blues Awards show, January 21st at Koerner Hall in Toronto. Courtesy of The Toronto Blues Society, you’ll receive a most excellent prize pack: a t-shirt, CD and one-year membership
