Toronto Blues Society Celebrates 25 Years of Rez Bluez


Toronto Blue Society is celebrating 25 years of Rez Bluez with a new pre-recorded live stream series taking place Friday nights at 8pm ET from September 25th throughout the fall. The events will air for free from Vancouver, Saskatchewan, Six Nations and Toronto on the TBS Facebook page.

The Rez Bluez pre-recorded live stream event series is presented with the support of Canada Council for the Arts, in partnership with Elaine Bomberry, Toronto Blues Society, Indigenous Performing Arts Alliance and CKRZ – The Voice of the Grand.

Elaine Bomberry will be hosting the series along with Jani Lauzon, and Diane Keye-Kohoko.

Oct 2: Digging Roots (Aanishinabe & Mohawk)
Oct 9: Crystal Shawanda (Aanishinabe)
Oct 16: Joel Johnson – Mohawk (Six Nations)
Oct 30: Pura Fé – (Tuscarora/Taino)
Nov 6: Billy Joe Green – (Aanishinabe)
Nov 13: George Leach – (Stl’atl’imx)
Nov 20: Josh Miller and Pappy Johns Band (Mohawk & Oneida) – POSTPONED/NEW DATE
