Submissions are open from May 1 until June 18 to new blues artists who have not made a nationally distributed or major label recording. Six finalists will be selected to perform before a panel of judges at Nathan Phillips Square where one artist will win a professional development package that includes a showcase opportunity at the Blues Summit V in January 2011, a showcase opportunity at this year's South Side Shuffle Festival, a recording session at Phase One Studios, a mentoring session with industry professionals, and more.
