Are YOU Canada’s Number One Blues Fan?
Do you think you just might be the biggest blues fanatic in Canada? We want to see why you think so!

Here’s what you have to do: send us a photo of what you think best represents something great about the blues. It could be a picture of a prized record collection or a favourite instrument, a snap of you and a local blues hero, the coolest local blues hang out or the best festival you’ve attended. The photo can be new or old.

What do you get? The winning submission will be shown during in the 16th Annual Maple Blues Awards show, January 21st at Koerner Hall in Toronto.  And courtesy of The Toronto Blues Society, you’ll receive a most excellent prize pack: a t-shirt, CD and one-year membership

Contest Information and Rules:

This contest is open to all Canadian residents.

Email a maximum of ONE photo per participant to: [email protected].

Entries are to be digital photographs not more than 10MB in size and submitted electronically as jpeg files with a preferred resolution of 300DPI.  NO HARDCOPIES PLEASE.

Include 50 word (maximum) description of photo and a little about yourself: Where are you from?  What is pictured in the photo?

To receive your potential prize pack, please include your contact information.

Midnight (PST) January 14th 2013.

Permission to use photo:

By submitting your photos, you agree to grant to the Toronto Blues Society TBS), free of charge, nonexclusive permission to use your photo in connection with Maple Blues Awards, in any media throughout the world, in any way the TBS wants.

Copyright in your photo will remain with you. You can continue to use the photo in any way you want, including allowing others to use it.

In order that the TBS can use your photo, you confirm that (a) your photo is your own original work; (b) you own all the rights in the photo, including copyright; (c) you have the right to give the TBS permission to use your photo for the purposes specified in these rules; (d) the photo is not defamatory and does not infringe any Canadian laws or violate the rights of any third party; (e) you have the consent of anyone who is identifiable in your photo or the consent of their parent / guardian if they are minors; (f) you waive any moral rights that you may have in the photo; (g) you indemnify TBS against any claim, demand, action, suit, or other proceedings against TBS arising out of the use of the photo or any false or inaccurate statements.

GENERAL RULES
If you are selected as a winner, you shall first correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question before being declared a winner.
