John’s Blues Picks is the monthly album review column by Toronto-based blues columnist, John Valenteyn. John Valenteyn is co-founder of the Toronto Blues Society, radio host on CIUT.FM and the Toronto Blues Society’s resident album reviewer. John’s Blues Picks (JBP) are collected monthly in the Toronto Blues Society’s monthly print newsletter, Maple Blues.

ALBUM SUBMISSIONS

JohnsBluesPicksAlbums can be submitted to John for review via the Toronto Blues Society Office. If possible, please include two copies of each album submitted, along with a one-sheet.

To submit an album for review, please mail 1-3 copies to:

PLEASE NOTE: All submitted material becomes the property of Toronto Blues Society. Due to the volume of submissions, we cannot guarantee an album will be reviewed.

Please do not ask Canada Post for a signature upon delivery as this can delay how fast we receive your music.
